From spotting shopping trends to improving delivery routes, data plays a big role in the decisions businesses make every day. But raw numbers don’t mean much on their own. That’s where storytelling comes in.
In this Digital Skills Programme, you’ll learn how to work with data in a way that’s clear, convincing, and useful. You’ll explore how professionals at Amazon and beyond use data to solve problems — and how you can too. Through short tasks and real-life examples, you’ll build your confidence in making sense of numbers and explaining what they mean.
These are the skills that help people turn information into impact.
Employers need people who can make sense of information and communicate it clearly. Whether you’re writing a report, designing a product, or pitching an idea — data skills give you an edge.
You don’t need to be a maths whiz to get started. Just curiosity, logic, and a bit of practice.
Understand how data helps people find answers — and how storytelling turns those answers into action.
Explore the key steps in analysing data: from collecting and cleaning, to spotting patterns, drawing conclusions, and sharing results.
Learn how people at Amazon and in other industries use data in careers like logistics, marketing, design, and product development.
Take on a challenge. Use data to explore a question, pull out key insights, and create a simple story or visual to explain what you’ve found.
Reflect on your data journey — how you explored, what you discovered, and how you might apply these skills in the future.
